WOW, Christmas tree already Jane....isn't it kind'a early? How do you keep the tree from loosing all it's needles........don't tell me it's one of those silver trees.
As far as my weekend goes, well the Misses and I are going up north to visit her Dad......I look forward to the much needed time off.
Got most of the lights up last weekend since we had pretty weather. Anything below 65 is freezing to me and I go into hibernate mode. This weekend I will be working and relaxing at night. Oh, inbetween that we need to look at tile as water heater decided to let go and ruin carpet so the boss wants tile.
Well teh night shift all weekend is what is on the agenda right now..... Cold (for us) and rainin.
Will most likely do the Chrsitmas tree next weekend. (My long weekend) That is the only lights that will be strung up. Well unless I get REAL energetic and climb my tower and put the "Star" up top. (I made a star shape with PVC and put lights on it several years ago) When I put it up you can see it froma L O N G way off as it is above the tree tops. The climb up to the 105 foot mark where I usually hang it is gettin LONGER and LONGER each year for some reason. I may just skip it this year.
w5it, them towers do get taller as the years pass, I no that cuz the ones that we put up years ago when new I could climb to the top in a couple of minutes. Now thirty years later they have fully matured, are very tall and it would take almost an hour to climb to the top, and most likely all day to talk myself into doing it.
One of the nice things about living in the mountains out west is we have the repeaters on the mountain tops. Just short towers to mount the antennas
