With just having been taken for $1,142 or $1,143 dollars on Ebay there is three things I will say:
One is, moving to Europe.....yah right, I’ve got five bucks on it's a scam! The only way this side of the moon I would pay ANY money on that boat deal would be IF I went and looked at the boat in person, received ALL the legal documents saying the boat belonged to the said seller, the boat was clear of ALL loans and leans and the boat passed a survey, only then would I consider putting down some green!
Two is, do NOT make ANY transactions OR communications outside of the "legal" Ebay site! That means, you sign into Ebay, pull up the guys post and then you contact the seller via the means Ebay provides! Trust me when I say, these crooks can fraudulently reproduce the Ebay site to a Tee!!!!! If 100% of ALL communications and transactions are NOT inside the true boundaries of the legal Ebay site and you do end up having a problem with the seller/ deal, Ebay will NOT give you the time of day!!! And I know that for a fact too!
Lastly, DO NOT make ANY money transactions outside of PayPal! Like them or not, outside of PayPal you have no one that will back the money you just shelled out! Trust me when I tell you not even Western Union will do squat for you when your money disappears and you don’t end up with the product.
Oh, hey, there is a web site which you can go to and view All of the currently known scam artist associated with Ebay, sorry I know longer have the web site and I’m not that good of a surfer, but I do remember that it was pages and pages long and the guy that ripped me off was on that list.
Good luck and be forwarded.
