- DOW now down 340+ points today
- Oil at basically $100 per barrel
- Gas to reach $3.75 or higher per gal on land
- Real Estate in the dump & forclosures going crazy

I've been handing out 1200$ propane bills left and right.....

Wow, I'll bet it takes some serious bucks to heat an entire pool with propane. Ouch! My father made good money investing in stocks over the years. He loved these types of markets. This is when he'd be buying certain stocks. Too nerve wracking for me.

Yup, well said. I've been buying bank stocks over the past week, I might have started to early though....time will tell.

I don't like most of those things you've mentioned, but I am equally disturbed over the ideas that the Chinese may be poised to move out of the 1.47 Trillion dollars they hold into some other currency. They don't like the slide of the dollar any more than we do. The question is if there is any other currency big enough for them to move into.

I am not buying into any of the financials yet I am waiting on them to find the bottom. I would rather lose some profit and wait for them to start back up.

It is my understanding that the guy from China who made that comment does not have the power to do what he is saying and this is not the first time he has overstepped his bounds in his statements. Also if you are serious why tip your hand on what you feel is a bad investment. I would start the move out first then let it be known because if you feel it is that bad then anymore bad news would just cost you more lost money.

On a side note my fertilizer company did good in a poor market. Potash ticker POT has been very good to me lately. I wish I could say the same for Cisco
