Default Online stock tradeing guru's???
What service do you guys use to trade online? Going through my Smith Barney broker I have these huge comissions to pay and in small transactions I really loose my azz on the profits of the stock. So what I am asking is what is a good online brokerage that will help me on these transactions? I have heard of 8-9 bucks a trade, but are there any strings attached?

SCOTTRADE works well for me, seven bucks a trade.

How do you take care of the 1099's and stuff like that when dealing with an online brokerage?

they send you everything ready for tax forms around jan 15th or so....
