What better moderator than one who (almost) never sleeps?

Finding new members is an interesting challenge. Many of us have done a lot of posting on THT, and I've been sorely tempted to post some reference to this forum - until I read a response from someone like Lex2006. I suppose that the active moderation here could keep the bozos under control. I sure enjoy the lack of abuse and the friendliness here. But I also realize it has to grow to survive, so I'll probably start sending more PMs over there.

If someone comes over here and causes problems this is all it takes.

1. I can block their username from being used.
2. I can block their IP address so they are no longer allowed to login from the computer the orginally setup the account for.
3. If they come back we will know & I will repeat the process.

Now I will say, when someone comes over here and angers people I will use the 3 strike rule. 3rd one and your done!

So feel free to try to get new members. Some forums have blocked the the burning reel to make it harder. Oh well.

So I PM'd a member and used the word "dot" instead of the ".".

It did not matter. What he got was giberish. So, we have to use e-mail...

If you click on my username it will then bring up a list of options. One of those is to send a PM. or you can respond to the one I am about to send you.

Kern O - "almost" is right.

Les will do the job right.

Remember though, we now have proof that he does indeed sleep!

We can use this to our advantage.
