Default Just got another HUGE raise!

Thanks to Raymond Martin of Martin Marine Design. Ray designed a custom RPS cushion for me again. This time for my Dauntless 180. It replaces the standard 3 inch cushion. When sitting my line of sight was just in par with the grab rail which bugged the heck out of me. The new cushion is 6 inches taller. Not only is it great for sitting on but it also works very well as a leaning post. This thing is a beast.

Rays workmanship is second to none.

Having your lifejackets on board and not wearing them is like putting your seatbelt on during a car accident.

Looks like nice work. It drives me crazy how many boats are built like that. Sit in the helm chair and the top frame of the windshield is right in your line of sight. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Yours sure is a nicer solution than sitting on a throw cushion. Which is what I do!

What about your feet? Do you need a foot rest now?

You know I never thought about my feet, but luck would have it they plant perfect on the deck when sitting. Bare feet feel great on the new Seadek helm mat.

I did the throw cushion for a few years on different boats, gave up after a while. The BEST seat I ever had was on my Sea Hunt 202. I ordered it with the fiberglass leaning post..........man did I love that thing.
