Default The new boat

Just a few photo's of the new boat prior to pickup in 2 weeks. The dealer will be installing the VHF and GPS/FF for me. One of the things that sold me on the boat was the folding rear seat. It has a ton of storage under it.

Its not as big as many other boats on this site but it should be perfect for me

Having your lifejackets on board and not wearing them is like putting your seatbelt on during a car accident.

Thanks Matt

I think the Dauntless is one of the best looking 18 footers out there. It has a ton of storage for its size and my son is going to love the removable ski pylon. I can't wait to use the Verado with the DTS.

Sweet boat. I grew up right near the Whaler plant. My cousin has a 13 footer that we beat the living bejeeebas out of when we were kids and it is still going 40+ years later.

I agree the stern seat is very cool. Have one similar in my 17' Action Craft and when folded it adds deck/fishing space. Good luck with the new rig.

The setup for the stern seat is the same on the 20 and 23 footer. The only thing I could not get that was on my wish list was the fishing package. That added a striper rail instead of the full rail, trolling motor plug, twin batteries and 2 pedestal seats, (one fits where the ski pylon is located. They are very hard to come by here in the northeast and because this is an 07 leftover the price was very hard to beat.

I would have loved to have the 2009 with the All Activity Tower (see photo) but that was too far out of my price range

I'll also be installing underwater lights and possibly a bimini top.
