Default New Boat

I'll be signing the paper work this week for a new left over 2007 Dauntless 180. It has Merc Verado 150 on it. The dealer is Island Marine Center in NJ. After a month of trading email and speaking to him over the phone I finally meet Rick Castellini at the boat show Sunday. I can't say how nice its been dealing with a standup guy. If anyone is looking to purchase a Whaler I highly recommend this dealership. They are taking my 170 in trade. Were trying to get the deal wrapped up in early April, as soon as I can get my boat out of rack storage. They'll be installing my supplied VHF and GPS. I've decided to go with 2 battery setup with a BEP battery switch. Spring can't get here soon enough.

I can't wait to start using the Smartcraft gauges and DTS.

Laszlo,

Congradulations on the new ride. You will have to take me out for a cruise when you get down here in the summer!

I did a photo shoot back in 05 with Trophy boats.
Some of the larger boats had the DTS throttle.
I didnt like how short the throttle handle was. But thats just me..................

I've run countless boats having the DTS throttle and although it takes some getting use to after your first full day on the water you'll love it! Both of my boats have smart craft gauge systems and they work very well.

BTW, that Whaler is one of my favorites, GREAT luck with her.
