I will take this one as I think I will be able to answer it...

Who? - Member of TBR, Friends & Family. Honestly we don't care who shows up! We are just looking for the same people we are looking for to join this forum. People who are willing to help out others, or are looking to learn!

What? - Bascially an excuse for all of us to get together and do some fishing. The deal is that everyone fishing for the weekend puts up $50.00 per angler. 100% of the money raised by the $50.00 donation will then be given to our favorite Charity which is Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughter.

When? - This years even will be held sometime in early June. Looks at this time that the dates are set for Thursday June 4th - Sunday June 7th. Members who are coming can fishing 1 day or can fish all 4 days. Do you need a boat... Heck no, we will have open stops on boats that need to be filled so common with your bad self!

Where? - We host this even out of Broad Creek Marina in Wanchese, North Carolina which is located on the Outer Banks. June just happens to be the time when we have some of the best tuna fishing anywhere!!!

Hope that helps!

Matt

Capt, we usually post hotels that have reasonable rates when we have everything nailed down. There's a lot of places in the area. Fin and Feather, colony by the sea, surfside, ramada just to name a few. Mention that you're coming up for a fishing tourney, and you'll usually get a discount as well.

If you bring a boat with berths, you can sleep on the boat, that's what Capt. Fred and I do. Failing that, there are plenty of places to stay, both on the beach and on Roanoke Island.
