Default Give me some ideas on how to deal with this:

I have three vehicles. I've lived in the house I'm currently renting for 6 months. Starting 3 months ago, I've had flat tires on two of my three vehicles 5 times. All of them just "went down" and had no holes. All of them were holding air during the day and the next morning are FLAT as a pancake.

Seems like one or two could be explained by chance or coincidence, but five of them points to someone doing it.

I went to the police department and they agreed, but said the best they can do is step up patrols. I knew there was nothing they could do, I just wanted it mentioned at 5 tires so if I or they somehow caught someone on the 10th flat tire I could make sure they get in trouble for all of them.

Thoughts on what I can do? Electrify my valve stems? Sleep in my vehicle with a paintball gun? Put my camo to use outside of hunting season and setup in the bushes with a pellet gun? Put little signs on all of the tires that say "I'm watching, and I'm a pretty good shot..."?

My roommates suggested I figure out what I did to piss off the neighbors since they've only gotten my tires. One roommate has had one flat and the other two have had zero...seems I'm being targeted

I already told them if I caught one of them doing it I was going to take a dump in their pillowcase. I feel like that's a sufficient threat to deter someone from letting the air out of my tires.

If I had a game camera (which I'd like) then I'd have already mounted that sucker somewhere discrete and waited...but I don't.

you can get them pretty cheap, has there been any pattern at all to it? Weekends, every other week, etc? And lastly, do you have a tree you can climb into near the driveway?

Pattern...well, on the Accord, I had a flat, pumped it up, drove to Charlotte, NC stayed for the weekend, came back, all 4 tires still fine. Wake up the next morning, other front tire is flat.

Suburban, went to the race in Martinsville, came home, had a flat the next morning. Decided I wasn't going to drive the truck anyway, left it flat for over a month, with the spare on there (not the same size as my other tires) and finally took it to a tire place last week and they pumped it up, said the sidewall was fine. I put it on Friday morning. Saturday morning the other side tire was flat.

5th tire was somewhere in the middle of the two 'episodes'.

No trees, but plenty of windows on the front of the house.

Just to be clear, I posted this looking for about 50% seriousness (max) and the other 50% left open to levity, hyperbole, etc.

My roommates find it hilarious...someone slammed a car door outside 30minutes ago while 3 of us were watching TV and one of my roommates jumped up, took off running and came back with a shotgun and a flashlight. Said he was ready for the tire bandits. I told him I had a place for that flashlight...

I find it less humorous since I have to take my truck tires somewhere to get fixed ('fixed' in this context meaning inflated with a compressor that cost more than $20). Getting the tire from a lifted Suburban into the trunk of a Honda Accord is not an easy task, and I don't enjoy doing it. This will be the third one of those suckers I've had to do.

You need to come up with a way to fill your tires with pepper spray.
