Default RIP Dad

The last message I received from my Dad last week was - that he was going fishing in Panama where he'd built a new home. On Thursday, Hawknest as he preferred being called, suffered a massive heart attack, doing what he enjoyed - designing and building motorsailors. His ashes have been spread at sea.

My wife and I are accepting the responsibilty of handling Dad's affairs, the home and farms. Yes, he still owned a couple of them in Wyoming and Montana.

Friends, like "Legend", "Ozimo" and others helped us out to the max and while I appreciate your little emails wondering where I've been, it will be a while before we use it once we start working on the four boats that he started.

Reefhunter ~ So sorry to hear about your dad. I know that you'll miss him terribly and only time can heal those wounds. It is a true blessing that he was able to go doing what he loved to do. Can't ask for much more than that in this life.

Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Reef,
Sorry to hear about your loss. We lost my dad last year about this time. There is not a day that goes by that I do not miss him, or that I do not remember fondly, all the fun times we had together.

Grieving is the price we pay for the love given and received. Only time can make it easier.
