Default TV Question.. Anyone

Hello All,

Here's the deal, I am moving my home office from one room to another & the room I am moving it too does not have a TV Jack.

What I am wondering is do I have to run another cable line or is there something I can buy that would make it "wireless."

I know there is a such thing as a wireless phone jack, but not sure wireless cable jack (or atleast I can't find it on google).

Matt

I dont think so..
A DeWalt cordless drill will help you, along with some cable.

Run the cable.

There is a new system that will let you do this. I'm not sure if its for sale quite yet or not but I have read that it will allow wireless cable up to 100 feet away...Let me think for a little bit so I can try and remember the name. Either way, I can assure you that it would probably be much cheaper to run the cable.

Go to eBay. Key in "wireless tv transmitter". They work, but I would not use them for high definition.

One thing you need to check. I think the devices may only broadcast a single channel, not the entire broadcast spectrum. That works if you have a decoder box at the end of the cable to change channels with, but if you plan to use the tuner in the TV, it may not do your job.

Me? I'd run the cable......
