Hope this get contained soon. There was a collison between a tug and a ship on the Mississippi River by New Orleans.

I just heard on the news that the operators of the tug were not licensed

yea i read that on CNN....hadnt heard the part about the dumb azz company letting non qualified and licensed idiots run the tug

The barge was being pulled by the tugboat Mel Oliver -- the operator had only an apprentice mate's license, and no one else on board had a license to operate the boat on the river. An operator should have a master's license to operate the tugboat, Petty Officer Stephen Lehmann said on Wednesday.
