Maybe, just maybe, once the speculators see that oil can come down just as fast as it went up and a bunch of them lose their shirts, they'll be a bit more reluctant to try and drive the price back up.

Yup, Kern I don't know how much the speculators can manipulate a market like this but if they can, and if they did, then I would LOVE to see them get slammed.

I saw that gas actually dropped today at some places to $3.74. Avg seemed to be $3.88. Hopefully these prices will keep dropping.

LOL, I hear ya Mark. The stations at Princeton, NC all have gas at $3.74. Wal-mart in Clayton has it at $3.88. Goldsboro it's mostly at $3.89. However, I did see one gas station in Goldsboro in the bad part of town on my way to Seymour Johnson AFB @ $4.12??? Don't know what's up with that. I'm hoping gas prices on the way to Emerald Isle or Kinston are down. I've noticed the city of Wilson typically has cheaper gas thean say Selma. I get around the different cities inthis area so much driving my mail truck that I keep current on gas prices here. Considering that I have to put gas in the boat tomorrow, I may have to stop in Goldsboro and fillup.

Oil came down a little more today, more good news. Let's hope it can at least hold at these levels or maybe drop some more. Stations here range from $3.79 to $3.93 at present. On the water our local rip off marina was at $4.83 when I went for my bike ride this morning.

Last night and tonight we fished out of the kayaks and had a complete blast caught quality fish last night (29" & 32" Redfish and a monster 33" Trout) and missed quality fish tonight (a couple big Snook). My son had a 30"+ Snook to the Kayak and then lost it. He was so upset he actually was crying as he paddled home. I think I actually felt worse then him because he wanted it so bad. I tried to tell him that he will have another chance, heck he's only 11, but he did not want to hear it. We'll be out again very soon.

Just got to work - Exxon station I drive by while going to work was priced at $3.69 this morning. Yesterday it was at $3.79 and was at $3.89 Thursday morning. I like the trend!

Oh yeah, the location is Sherman Texas.

I can't believe the difference in gas costs. Gas at the beach was selling for $4.09 a gallon at stores. In Kinston, gas was selling for $3.62 a gallon. That's $0.47 a gallon!! I know there's a gas was currently going on in Kinston, but a lot of places were selling it for $3.78 a gallon.
