Spent early youth fishing in the Great Lakes for salmon and trout with family and friends, left when zebra mussels took control. Designed downriggers for while, until I fell in love with wooden sailboats and sailed them in the Chicago-Mac race twelve times. My Dad - who farmed in Wyoming started designing sailboats and one thing lead to another and now we build them in Washington. We often put my custom BigJon downriggers on them.
