Default Made it!

Things I learned:

Getting trailer flats during business hours in commercial districts is superior to at night along I-95.

Goodyear Marathon trailer tires are the biggest POS.

Here at PC, anyone want to meet for a beer?

I just got done cruising the sound in the BAMFish 14' Lowes aluminum battlewagon, with the bulletproof 6 hp 1974 Johnson tiller, and watching the sunset. I cruised around at better than 80 GPH.

Regrettably, I didn't have enough time to bring fishing poles along for this evening cruise. I did remember the cooler.

I had some problems, tho...Motor wouldn't start on the third pull, and it's been outside sitting in water for 2 months now. Spark plugs had some corrosion on the capacitor ends, so I took my car key and scratched them a few times, then reinserted the boots. Fired right up on the third pull, just like ever. I felt stupid, for sitting at the dock waiting thinking it was flooded.

Sometimes, I miss the old days when everything was just simpler. Seems the older, and the more toys you get, the more complicated life in general gets.

It was nice to just cruise around in the sound, not worrying about sandbars, lights, sinking, getting home on time, waves, weather, fishing, electrical, fuel problems, gas bills, etc.

Glad you made it Greg, hope you can relax just as I did tonight
