TBR Donates to Childrens Hospital

I had the pleasure of meeting with Lea today from Childrens Hospital of the Kings Daughter.

Along with myself 2 members of TBR were present, Dave (dawiggs) & Chris (blueh20pc).

For those of you who don't know we had a TBR get together / fishing tournament hosted on the Outer Banks of NC a few weeks ago. Each member that fished the weekend donated $50.00 which included the money for the charity along with an opening night dinner.

We ended up raising right at $2,000 for the Childrens Hospital. Great feeling knowing you are helping out children who are in need!

Thanks again guys, get ready the fall trip is right around the corner!

Yes & at the next trip we are going to require Lea to hang out with all members.. That should bring some more guys out!!!

What's her position at CHKD? I'm working on building a CHKD regional center/hospital/office building in Virginia Beach and we've met quite a few folks on the fundraising side coming to see the fruit of their labors but I don't think I've seen her out there...some of the subcontractors might have fallen off of scaffold and such, so it's probably a good thing...
