I ALMOST called him this morning on MY way to work at 0330 hrs. But I was afraid he would have gotten there just a little before then and be sleeping. He needs all the beauty/handsome sleep he can get. So I DANG sure did not want to wake him up!

THAT was a fun phone call to receive at 7am. on Tues. mornin'. I hadn't gotten in all of MY beauty/handsome sleep.

It's all kind of bittersweet. Glad to know that he got a Dodge with the 5.9 - yet SO SAD to see Big Red go away.... That truck has been a part of the "Family" for a LONG TIME!!! She was a great one!!

Now - he'd BETTER catch some fish!!!

IT’S NOT A RUMOR! (my best Arnold Swatzenagger impersonation).

Yep, Lester’s truck of 18 years went to the great Ford garage in the sky Tuesday. She went out doing what she was made for. Sad, sad day my friends.

I just never thought Les would have gone to the dark side before me. I just knew I’d be the first to go as I’ve been planning the journey for later this year (replacing my old farm truck).

Talked to Les yesterday evening & he is very pleased with the new ride.

That’s bad news for me as this will most likely cause me to take my dark side journey sooner than planned!
