Good point MR. SAFTY MINDED about those chocks! Sure beats the crap out of having a 3 ton plus vehicle roll off of the ramps and crush yah..................the up side was, I was on a gravel driveway and I was able to eventually dig myself out.........I bet yah I hurt for 3-4 weeks straight! I got railroaded shoulder to shoulder........man I can’t even begin to try and spell out the sound that I made that afternoon when that stuff hit the fan. After the fact, it took me about 25 minutes to DIG the stones out of my right arm/ shoulder! ...............I won’t EVER make that bone head move again!!!

Car is back together for the most part, and now the clutch pedal just goes straight to the floor with no pressure at all. Needs to be bled, but in 1995 on the V6 models Chevy apparently felt like a bleeder valve on the clutch system wasn't really essential, so they left it off.

Any tips on bleeding a clutch hydraulic system without a bleeder valve? We've pulled the lid on the reservoir and pushed the slave in and out and then closed the reservoir and got nothing...pumping the pedal for 5 minutes gave nothing...

I'm at wit's end and am probably just going to get a hand vacuum and put some neg pressure on the system from the reservoir and pump the pedal while I watch for bubbles. I know people say that it will flip seals and ruin the slave cylinder, but I don't have much else left to try.

What caused the slave to get "unbled"?

GM probably saved 5 cents a unit by eliminating the valve.
Most of the units without bleeders are supposed to bleed themselves by gravity with the air bubbles floating to the top, but there is not enough move in the slave to get the air out with the thing installed. Unbolting the slave cylinder from the trans and dropping it down so that it and the line are as low as possible below the master cylinder, then pump the piston in/out to force any trapped air up to the master cylinder.

Do a search under "bleeding camaro clutch"
