I know that a lot of people are not qualified to answer this because of birthday issues but the wind is howling & the boat is finished so here we go.

Digging in. First day of an Op............you can tell because I am not filthy.

Armour screen in front of us during the day. They pulled back in BEHIND us at night.

On the move. Pic from the top of an APC with a tank in support. Heading into the rubber in the distance. We normally walked as Infantry do but any ride is good.

Out in the weeds. Definitely "Indian Country".

Still out in the weeds. North Queensland five years ago on the old boat. The critter is a Mud Crab. Great eating but those claws will crush a finger in a heartbeat.

And a word to the wise. If you have any memories on slides, get them transferred to a disc or card ASAP. As you see from Pic 1, slides degrade badly over time. I have boxes of coloured junk.

I was 7 years old my dad was dieing and my new dad to be was on his 2nd tour in Viet Nam

That sounds weird but my new dad didn't become my dad till after my real dad was gone [ Code no joy ] I had 2 really cool Dad's .

Thats all I have to say about that .

What I'd really like to do is to get myself copied to a disc or CD. You think the slides look bad?

Well...I was 6 yrs. old and we were at my Grandparent's house enjoying Easter Sunday with all of our family and friends. Always had a HUGE bash at Grandma Elsie's house in those days. Went to church and then came home ate lunch and then my older brother's were in charge of hiding the Easter eggs for me and my two cousins. Lots of food, fun and laughter. Thanks for makin' me think back about all of those fun times AND thanks for makin' them possible~!!

BTW ~ fishoinc - you haven't changed a BIT!!
