As some of you might know I work for a very large printer that caters to the petroleum industry. About 3 weeks ago some of our sales guys started receiving calls for rush orders for 4's and 5's. That's 4 dollar and 5 dollar signs. Our shipment of these new numbers are due by the end of April. Looks like well never see 2 dollar gas again. I don't even want to tell you what the orders for Diesel are
Anyone want to buy a 2006 Chevy Tahoe, Fully Loaded! Gets Great Gas Mileage! HA..
Oh well, I love seeing those guys who drive around the big "moster" trucks here on the Outer Banks, I hope they are enjoying their 3 miles to the gallon!
I've been planning to replace our farm truck with something newer later this year. Looks like I will have alot of choices & possibly for less money than I originally planned. I guess that's good news for me?
I guess the bad news will be $5 gallon diesel.

If you start growing corn.......no, that won't work.
As some of you might know i bought a 2008 F-250 4X4exactly one year ago to pull the new to me bigger boat (8500 lbs. w/trailer). It does a great job and I love the truck but that V-10 averages 9.4 mpg around town (7.5 pulling the boat). The most I got it up too was 11.5 mpg on pure highway driving. Already have 17000 miles on it and I really want to keep it a long time so I parked it and just bought a 2008, 2WD, 4 cylinder Ranger. Looks like a dominnon gas truck or public works vehicle. I tricked it out a little and it's fun to drive. GETS 22 MILE PER GALLON CITY. Smartest thing I did this year.

Thats what we here. Diesel at the stations around Philadelphia is around $3.30 for vehicles and going up very fast. The service tech at my marina called me today to say my boat is scheduled to go in Friday for its spring check up. He said gas at their docks was currently $3.98.
