Got Daddy'O, Welder and Scott off to Venice, LA. this morning around 4am. or so ~ WOO~HOO~~!!!!!

Just had a phone call from Daddy'O around 4pm. and they had just finished having a late lunch with Don Fauntleroy (w5it). Bet that was FUN!!! Don's a great guy!!

They are heading out of Hammond and on down to Venice. He said the weather is 76 where they are.... what bums. It's 49 here at home. Hope it stays pretty for 'em!!

I'll keep ya updated on the "progress". Hey - maybe they'll get "lucky" and catch one of those huge makos that's swimmin' around down there ~

Well when they left here they all were kinda "Waddlein".

I heard talk of being stuffed and gettin sleepy......

VERY nice visit even tho it was shorter than we would have liked... BUT, they DID have a few miles to go before they got to the destination.

BTW, Cathy was SOME kind of happy when I gave her the "Care package" F.J. ( Ashley is at a friends house tonight too. )

Glad to hear they are on there way down.The farcast will be a little ruff tomorrow.Calling for 3'-5' seas,but it will lay down in the afternoon.Wish I had off,I would of head down myself.Best part is,the people I work for cannceled the unit shutdown tonight.Great,so I can play on the internet all night if I want to.NOT!Do have them make a report on how the weather and winds are tomorrow afternoon.I might still might make a trip down for a overnighter.There will be a ton of boats out there come sunday and it might be better to fish saturday night and early sunday before everybody gets out there.

Daddy'O called me around 8pm. last night to tell me that they made it to Venice and were so glad that they got to stop and visit with Don ~

They are going to kick back today (Sat) and just bum around (they are VERY good at that ~) and then they will fish tomorrow.

And they'd BETTER catch some fish to bring home - big or not - or Momma ain't gonna be happy! Ha!

I just got a call from Lester (Welder) letting me know that they just finished lunch, and were going out for cruise! From what I could tell, Stephen made it safe as I believe he was yelling in the background!

Captain Fernando is there also, should be interesting to see the pictures.

Da Boyz and I went to see movies today. Eldest went to see "The Eye" with Jessica Biel and Wyatt and I went to see "Witless Protection" with Larry the Cable Guy (he's my HERO!).
