Default Video of 4 Iraqis learning how not to dig up a 155MM shell - graphic

The skill level can be told by the guy using the muzzle of his AK-47 to dig with.

At least it was painless.......

Bummer that they were friendlies. I hope they show that clip to all the friendlies working with us. That web site has a ton of stuff with the bad guys getting it. Search "apache" for similar videos with happier endings!

The video identified them as "volunteers", but I was struck at how anxious they were to dig the thing up. It was almost as if they were going to get a prize or they had some other use for it. I'd have been wary, they showed zeal.

Yup, the guy trying to pry it up out of the hole with the barrel of his AK was amazing. I've seen some videos on that site where they uncover the IED and then ask a tank, bradley, or some air power to just blow the thing up. Much smarter move than poking at it with your weapon.
