Got the day off for some tuna fishin out of Monterey Monday. 3 guys flaked at the last minute ! Luckily Mary Mitch and John came. we headed out to 34/53 and picked up 4 singles on the outriggers and wayback line. waved to hammerhead and seen seabea also .Very slow pick bite today that I have gotten very use to! heard a hot bite 17 miles down the line picked up and ran down to 15/52 just a couple stickboats down there and huge balls of bait with tuna under them picked away singles there with the plugs and sixshooter mex flags short .We got ten nice fish in sweet conditions flat water high fog some sun. Didn’t want to leave but finally made the 52 mile run back to the harbor some in the dark got home at midnite up at 5 for work oh well I would do it again wed if I could !!
