Welcome.

I reckon I'll introduce myself. My name's Ryan Richardson and I'm a senior at Virginia Tech, and by senior I mean I've been here 4 years...still a few solid years from graduating.

I bought my first boat before I could drive ($200 for a 21' boat that I never got to run...couldn't afford a mechanic, just the $200 boat)...and it's sorta been downhill from there.

I like to fish, dive, spearfish, hunt, etc. I live in Suffolk, VA when not at school, but I've managed to live for one summer and part of another down in Kill Devil Hills. Hard to work enough to pay the rent, fish and still have time to sleep, so this coming summer I'm undecided on whether I'll be a commuter or a part-time resident. (FYI, NC really screws you in the tax department when you're a "part-time" resident).

I have a 23' Fish Nautique that is in a crazy limbo of constantly being worked on AND fished whenever I'm home...results are less than optimal, but I do what I can with what I have.

I've supported my fishing spending by working in a mortgage company, Food Lion, cooking breakfast down in Nags Head, landscaping, merchandising at Home Depot and I briefly (six weeks) worked on the assembly line at the Ford F-150 plant. That's a batch of trucks I wouldn't wanna drive

Looking forward to learning about boats and fishing and more importantly bumming rides offshore

Default Hi I’m Rick AKA fishoinc

I hang out on a lot of Outer Banks Boards that how I got here. I prefer to surf fish on Ocracoke but have been known to fish any where north of there .Waiting for the Striper to show up at Oregon Inlet so I can make a long week end trip .

I live in the Mountains of Va Run Heavy Equipment and farm for a living , been seen around a lot of different boards from N.C. to Va.
