Hi to all on the new board. I am Ed Pupa, known here and other boards as Aftergolf.
Aftergolf was the name of my first offshore boat, a 24 Albe that my wife named for me, as my first love was golf, and would turn down fishing for golf, until I really got hooked on gulf stream fishing. I really look forward to any chance to run to the stream in my current boat, which is a 28 Albe, and now will pass on golf for blood on the decks. My 28's name is "Tempo Dolce", which is Italian for "Sweet Time". I could never get myself to name my boats most of the common lines, so mine have been much different.
I live in Raleighwood, and my wife and I are both natives. We have 4 kids, 2 grown and out of college with 2 more to go.
One of my very good friends and fishing partners is Blue Water Pirate. I hope he gets here to this board soon.
This is a great board, and I thank the founders and moderators for getting it going. I look forward to posting reports and pictures with plenty of blood on the decks.
My other good fishing friend is Captain Shane Brafford on the Second to None, who has joined and I am sure will report his great fishing trips on his new ride, the 60 foot Gary Davis "Fighting Lady".
Tight lines to all!

How bout ya all on the forum. I'm josh, new to the fishing forum lifestyle but hope to learn as much as i can from talking to those much more experienced then i, a.k.a just about everyone. Suffolk boy born and raised good friends with Prodigal Son and happy to say that because he owns the boat i am normally on. Hopefully i can get my first in the upcoming year, but until then i will work on and buy gas for others. lived in Charlotte, NC. for a few years going to culinary school and realized the fact that i cant be away from the water more than a week or i get dry mouth. *cough*i will prepare and/or cook any amount of fish that is caught during a trip im on *cough*. Glad to be apart of the rise to greatness this forum will reach.
Later on ,

Hi Folks,
Born, raised, and still in Sanford, NC. Traveled all 50 states in my years and have never found a place I love better than home... I guess I'm lucky.
I design Aluminum Building products (cornices) for the commercial roofing industry.
Been boating & fishing since I was a kid with my Dad... guess you'd say its in my blood.
Fish NC to Fl, trailer the boat to where I want to go. Use to have a boat that I kept at a marina year round... sold it, told myself I'd never do that again. I like to travel. Mostly fish out of Southport, second, Ocracoke.
Boat is name after my children, Jonathan & Farren, "Jonafare", a 265 Grady Express cabin. The Admiral's name is Suzanne, a dance teacher.
Glad to be here.
Frank

Hello ladies and gents. My name is Barrett Jones I have been in marine electronics sales and installation for about 15 years. I love to be anywhere but inside yet I am always on this darn computer! I am in Louisiana right on the southshore of Lake Pontchartrain and never plan on moving unless we get washed again (knock on wood) I love fishing the marsh for reds and trout out of my kayak but also like fishing offshore. Been married for alittle over a year and have my first sone who is about 5months. Played around with alot of things over the years. Built a drag fourwheeler for the dirt which I was always in trouble for drag racing on the street. Moved up and built a cutlass which got me more tickets when caught. Now, I am a good boy... for now. Great site here and many familiar faces. I am happy to be here. Thanks for the invite and the welcome.

Hello to all!
Hi, My name is Jim, born and raised in San Francisco (a few blocks from Kezar and a big time 49er Fan) Anyway I lived in LA for 12 years and now live back in the San Francisco Area. I have own a few boats, a commerical Salmon Boat and a Charter Sport Fishing Boat and business. My dad ran charter boats in the 50ies, 60ies and 70ies and I was rasied in the business as well. I sold all my boats and now just fish for fun! I am boatless for now, but always looking! Someone from THT (A very good poster) told me about this site, I look forward to learning from all of you and reading all your posts!
