Smile Hi from Lewes Delaware

Hi all,

I'm a retired Project MGR/Eng. having worked on Precipitators and Noise Control.

Have enjoyed fishing from Cape Cod to Hatteras and try to get back to some of the haunts when I can.

Born and raised in South Jersey fishing out of Strathmere, Sea Isle, O.C., Avalon, etc. Moved to Maryland fishing the Chessie Bay for 30+ yrs. Have since retired to Lewes DE fishing the Ocean and DE Bay. Have been to Hatteras for the surf fishing and Cape Cod for Stripers. Have been lucky enough to take two trips to Seward, Alaska w/ my son having a ball catching halibut, five of the different salmon species, ling cod and various species of rockfish.

I found this site as I was searching for Hatteras info. The family has rented a place and is coming down to Avon, NC in June. We have chartered a boat for a jigging trip out in the ocean.

I have 21.5' WA Striper Seawirl and a 19' CC which I fish out of. Also fish off the jetties or the beach.

Looking forward to being a part of this board.

Mike

Matt,

We've chartered Capt. Patrick Caton on the Little Clam. Staying on the beach at a place in Kinnakeet Shores in Avon. Looking to setup an "inshore/sound charter" for my son and my two grandsons, 6 & 4 yrs old for some bottom fishing for the kids. Any suggestions?

Mike I always recommend either Patrick of Rick Canton. Rick has a pretty cool waterman trip that is great for kids.

Head over to Reel Buzz and checkout the charter boat list & custom sound charters. That is Rick's Boat!

If there is a fish nearby, Patrick will put you on it. I'm just getting into the jigging thing out of Hatteras too and I've heard real good things about Patrick's jigging trips.
