Just finished talking with Dave Wiggington regarding fair weather fest in June. As a new member I am looking forward to the event and will be signing up in the next day or so, after I talk with some of my fellow Pirates! Was wondering if anyone attended the meeting that was held the 1st monday of April re: new local fishing club for small boat owners? How was the turn out? Do they have a link for any details? I own the 2 Bit Hook'r a 2520 parker and have fished the outer banks for nearly 40 years.(LOYAL CLIENT OF BROAD CREEK FISHING CENTER) Nice to see a site that the private boats can network together.
Ps. Nothing again'st the big boats, I have alot of friends who either run a charter or are owner operators! My hat goes off to them on a daily bases, once you look at $4.00 a gallon there is not that many pieces of pie left over

I would be happy to help out for the upcoming event, shoot me a note if there is anything i can do!

As for the OBX Local Fishing Club I do not believe any of us TBR members were able to make it to you meeting, but I just got an email from Stu (the guy who started it) that the next meeting will be on 4/28 and I plan to attend this time.

Stu and I have talked via Email a few times and he has asked if I would be willing to give the fishing club a special forum where the members can talk back and forth. He is also going to give me a chance to talk about TBR at the meeting!!!

Welcome Jim. We like the people @ BROAD CREEK FISHING CENTER as they have always treated us right when in town.
