Talking Worldwide fishermen united

Hello everybody,
I'm Alex and I usually fish German lakes and streams because thats where I live. Also when I'm on holiday I must try to catch fish where ever I find some water I really like fishing in the ocean esp. from a small boat, I really envy you guys and girls who live close to the sea!
I started my first thread in the fishing section about fishing in Sri Lanka because my father lives there now. I'm surprised about the response and positve feedback I got there in a short time
Great forum!

Beneath you see what we call catfish, I caught that one '98

Holy Crap that's a big catfish! Are yours good to eat? Some of the ones we get in the States are delicious.

MMMM...Catfish!

Excellent breaded, and big fight!

You should come over to NC, USA for a visit and get some Tuna's!

Welcome.

Yes, our cats get real BIG
That one was 5'3 and 66lbs. They can grow over 200lbs!
The bigger they are the more fat they have and that's not good eating. If you remove all the dark flesh and fat you lose 2/3 but the rest is fine. But indeed they are hard fighting fish.
OK blueh20pc, that sounds like an invitation to me, I'll bring the beer
