Default Hello from Alaska...!

Born & Raised Alaskan, Charter Captain, Retired Jack-of-all-trades, Computer Geek, Forum Junkie and Father of 3. In no particular order, I think that just about sums it all up.

If my wife asks anyone where I am, I'm either out on the boat (earning money), out on the boat (messing around and NOT earning money) or here in the office (trying to earn money, but probably not!) You can guess which of those 3 responses she really wants to hear, and I promise I won't tell if you fib a bit in my favor! ;-)

Anyhoo... I've fished and boated up and down the West Coast US, South Florida, and (primarily) in Alaska most of my life... Stumbled across TBR on a random Google search today, and figured it would be a good addition to my daily reading list!

Please don't call me "Captain"... I've always regarded that as a term of respect, not a job title to be tossed around lightly. As far as I know, you haven't been on my boat, or know me personally, so I haven't yet had the chance to earn the respect that's implied in such a formal title!

My friends call me "Case"... works fine online and off... either that, or the usual "Hey, You!" that we all reply to.

Case,

I'd enjoy touching base to see what are the hot items in regard to tackle up your way. We have had one sale to Alaska and would enjoy getting some more !

Welcome Case,
Suggest you get your own sub-forum in The "Charter Discission " forum. Would be interesting to see what fishing/boating goes on in other parts of the country with fish and how to..

Regards,
