Default Trailer hitting at the ramp

I have a 31' trailer that I have my boat on and I was wondering if anyone has any issues with the trailer hitting the concrete on the ramp when you pull it over the crest. I have only put my boat on this trailer at my house and I have to put it in on the side of the ramp on the beach area because the ramp stops. When I pull it out it scrubs and pulls up all the grass and dirt. My truck is lifted 8" but I bought a 6" drop to put it pulling close to regular ride height. Should I not use the drop hitch and use a straight hitch or do I need to flip the 6" drop over and make it a 6" raise? Anybody else have or had this issue and how did you correct it?

What part of the trailer is hitting? On mine the square adjustable tubing that are adjusted to adjust the front bunks would hit the crest of the ramp...I ended up cutting of the excess tubing that was below the clamp that held it. Hacksaw Away!!Mark

Pretty much the same part of mine is hitting also. I don't have much hanging down, maybe a inch or so. I was thinking about doing something a little different with mine as I am not real happy with the way the boat loads on these. Mine are just some square tubing for form a V with about 2' of PVC pipe over them. I was thinking of using salt treated lumber to form the V and make it flush with the bottom of the trailer. I don't quess you have ever had the trailer rails scrub on the ramp? Mine will hit on the dirt at my ramp at the house but I am not using the actual ramp part as I am putting off on the side on the beach area and there is a build up from the beach to grass area.
