They might get the race done tonight. Currently under another red flag. I have a question though. If they don't get the race going again, and it's not yet an official race, what happens to the cars already wrecked? would jr., and mears be able to bring out the backup cars? I don't know as I've seen that situation come up before.
When they make the race "official," it's just saying that should another red flag or anything like that come up, they can end the race there. When it's "unofficial" and a red comes out, they run it the next day. Everything is the same about the race except that it's on a different day. I believe all cars are impounded in their current condition...so you have to finish in the car you started with.
