I just added this section as it seems a bunch of TBR members are also big sports fans! I figured this would be a way to keep things separated!

So lets start up this forum with the Great American Race the old 500!

Who's got who? I have been a Jr. Fan for a long time now & after going 2 for 2, I'm putting my money on JR.

What does everyone else thing?

i think you have a good shot of him winning........all the young guns need to be watched though...

I'm going to be standing behind #96.

My employer is the number one sponsor for the team.

This year they have a new car (Toyota) & driver (JJ Yeley).

I am going to predict a Toyota will win the 500. My guess would be Tony Stewart. I do not pull for Tony but that is my gut feeling.

I pull for #17 Matt Kenseth and ABJ(anybody but Jr.)

Jr's streak for the week will come to an end today at the Busch series race(well they now call it the Nationwide series.) and will carry over to tomorrow. Jr's Busch team was busted yesterday for an illegal rear spoiler.

There will be some fines issued next week.

I think Jr is a good driver but not a great driver. We will see this year if I am wrong. This is the end of excuses for Jr and his fans. He is now on the Hendricks team and he will get nothing but the best in equipment,testing, and crew. Time will tell. I think there are too many big egos on one team and there will be a lot of tension throughout the team this year. Kind of like the Yankees. Too much talent in one organization.

Hey Matt another good addition to the board!

Well ole Tony Stewart won today's race and Jr came up a little short.

It will be the same for the 500 tomorrow!!

Tony Stewart is on my fantasy Team, so for that reason I hope he wins, but he is still a jerk.. I am a Jr. fan...and will be pulling for him..to be 2nd place!

I agree Tony is a jerk. I am definately not a fan of his either. I just have this feeling this will be his race.
I have him on my fantasy race team too! That is one of the bad things about playing fanatsy sports. Sometimes you have to pull for the enemy.

I agree about those "blasted Yotas", but the Car of Tomorrow is generic to all and each team has to "tweak" them to get Max performance...Still pulling for Jr.

I don't think JR. needs to give any excuses after going 2-2. The only way to have a better start is to go 3-3 and win the daytona 500!

I have to say though, I think Jr and Tony have the best two cars. Did I hear something today about Tony and Kurt actually working together today?? Really??If so, that might be dangerous.
