My wife and I just moved here (biloxi) from Oklahoma about six months ago. We have recently purchased a new CC (216 CC Sea Fox) and looking forward to diving off of it next summer. We got certified last August, our certification dive was in Destin and we dove in Vortex Springs one day since then. We are trying to put a trip together this Febuary somewhere tropical to get some dives in as well. Looking forward to next summer!

Welcome to the forum. I'm not a diver by any means, but I'm sure someone will come along later & give you the information you are looking for.

I am, however, a fellow Oklahoman born and raised south of Tulsa. Just curious as to where you are from. Farmerjane & I have been in North Texas for almost 25 years now. Still have family scattered around Oklahoma. I don't want to derail the thread, so if you want to PM me that would be fine.

User name Bletort does a lot of diving / spearfishing around the rigs out of Ocean Springs.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions...the rigs usually have muddy water up top and strong currents throughout, but most are loaded with fish & nice sights once you break the murk layer...
