Default The arch and bimini

I ordered an arch from Atlantic Towers and got talked into their "Arch in a box" which was a semi custom thing that you assembled in pieces. They are about $1500 with shipping. They are returnable if un-modified, but I had cut the legs before I realized that it was just too square and blocky for me. So, I called em back and they were kind enough to give me more than fair credit on the parts I had not cut. I then had 'em make me a new arch to my design.

Here's the new arch on the skid as it arrived:





Here it is in the midst of cutting and fitting the stainless bows for the canvas. The goal is to make all the bows come out level when the top is open and have them all fold up neatly when the top is closed:




And, today it came back from the canvas shop. You might as well make it, uh, distinctive. The cost is the same for gray or color:
