Default Finished At Last!!!

It is all over. Everything is in & working. Only need to run in the Zuke & then go fishing. Last series of pics.

Final version of the electrical distribution system. Tidied up a few wires & put the Seatalk connections in the grey box. The clear plastic box contains spare fuses.

Plotter, sounder, VHF & stereo powered up.

EPIRB & Fire Extinguisher close to hand. The green paper tape on the extinguisher nozzle is prevent spiders & wasps building nests in there. The tape blows of when the ext is activated.

Maglite on brackets.

Cannon downrigger rotated forward for travelling. Twin fuel filter system below. Small filter is a water trap only with combo filter downstream.

Battery compartment.

Seats back in & electronics out. I will store the boat at a friends place & prefer to keep all the goodies in my garage. Next pics will hopefully be of deceased critters.

I had the pleasure of being Pete's houseguest recently, and we were able to take a Saturday to fish this new rig. The bazooki pushed it very well, and it rode good as well. Looooooong rolling swells on the way out, and a nasty chop on the way in, never uncomfortable. Didn't catch many fish, but that's because I was on board.

Thanks Pete.

Thanks Wayne. It was a great time. Brisbane is very beautiful place.

Once we stopped taking on water, things went well

I was wondering when somebody was going to pick up on Al's little comment.
Because I forgot to put the rubber bungs into the kill tank drain pipes. The kill tank holds about 15 gallons & is under the square hatch in the floor in front of the transom. .
The tank is designed to be half filled then closed. Fish are brainspiked then bled in the tank before going into the brine mix in the cooler. Keeps the cooler brine clean & stops lactic acid buildup in the fish which can affect eating qualities.
But we didn't catch any fish although Big Al dropped two. It was still a great day but the wind is howling now. 50 knots last night.
