As promised, some new pics. Things have slowed down a little as the builders are on their Christmas break.

Roof is on

Interior-fuel tank cover has been screwed down. The tank itself sits in a sealed compartment known as a fuel cell. Fuel line runs to the transom via an alloy pipe which ensures that the watertight compartments stay that way. The circular cutout is over the tank filler cap - no airlock problems here as the tank is filled directly. No fuel gauge either - just a dipstick which has no moving or electrical components.

Stern shot showing port downrigger mount. The mount is elevated so that the DR can rotate 360 deg without fouling the grab rail. Also shows scuppers & access steps. Live bait tank is built into the transom. Overflow holes are along the top whilst the single hole lower down is the tank drain. Also shown is the bait station. This has a cutting board on the top level with drains both sides & a lower level to store tackle, pliers, etc. The bait station can be removed if a clear transom is needed for trolling.

Another stern shot showing DR mount at bottom of pic.

Default Back at Work

Builders are into again after the holidays.

Bow roller & anchor rope well.

Side windows in cab have been cut out.

Stuff actually happening .

Welding gear........Lester will know more about this.

What it will ride on.

Galvanised steel trailers with a roller system are the standard here. The alloy trailers are very difficult to fit with rollers.

What will pull it.............100 Series V8 Landcruiser.

I'm telling you that I may have had a different life in times past. I'm also telling you that, for the right number of $$$$$, you may adorn your vehicle with this very special plate.

More pics

Cutouts for steering & instruments are done.

Cabin interior showing cutout for hatch & storage area under bunks.

Inside transom showing battery box tray, assorted plumbing & elec wire tubing. The hinged plate on the floor in front of the transom cutout covers a "kill tank" which is plumbed with alloy pipe through the transom. Allows fish to be bled without creating a mess before they go into the icebox.
