Lester: That site has more couplers than I've seen on any site. Thanks for the heads up. I actually did figure out a really slick way to solve the problem and I promise to show you all how I did it. I'll post pictures in the morning.

Yep the 4" tube X 28" vertical , they [ bulldog ] also have a hitch that will fit on a 4" round toung, also a 3" .

The bulldogs are some of the toughest hitches I have ever seen or used.

We have a Brush chipper at work with a 100 HP John Deere Turbo Diesel and it's pulled with a F550 ford and they have Jack Knifed it hard enough to Shear the 4 grade 8 X 3/4" bolts that bolt the hitch on [ up/down adjustment if needed ] and the hitch looked fine but it was my call to cut it up and throw away [ Safety 1st ] I also cut the 2 5/16" ball up .

Once these parts have been in an accident I will not reuse them.

I work for a Muni. now and Law suits can run amuck.

Lester, I use the bulldog hitches on my equipment trailers as well as the F550s' with the Class V hitches for trailer tow. I am very safety concious too and would not reuse any
damaged hitch components (my attorney is too expensive) just not a way to save money.

Question, I wen't through the Bulldog site but could not find any horizontal couplers
for pipe did I miss something? I have the bulldog vertical coupler mentioned it is a very good product.

KernO, Since you like machine work so much I am sure you can make a transition piece between the rectangular and round tubing.

I have used the horizontal hitch , they may be hard to find for 3" and 4" pipe.

Just check thru the trailer hitch sites with Bulldog hitches.
