Default transom saver project - completed

About a month ago I repowered with Verado 300's and Sundancekid and I decided while the motors were off, to strengthen the transom (no I had no problems) by adding an exterior plate and transom savers inside. Many of the better companies are adding them - at least on the interiors with all new engines.
Here's the motors and you can see the exterior plate - primered and awlgripped to the identical color of the hull:



the internal ones were added today and we decided to keep them polished aluminum:

inside 3/8 inch

Nice job! That came out very well. Did you and Joey fab that outside plate and paint it yourselves or did you have it done? Just curious how you got the nice rolled edge on it if you did it yourselves.

joey had the plate made by his vendor....and mark - his FG/paint guy on premise at sundance - sprayed it in the end bay ....

Jim the cool thing about Aluminum is you can use a Router on it but you have to use Carbid cutter's.
