Default Potential salvage projsect.

I have the opportunity to acquire a project boat. It was swamped at the dock. If it is all glass I think I will be in fine shape. If it is glass over wood how would I know if water has gotten to the wood? Could it be salvaged?

Or should I just stand on the gas?

What kind of boat? No need to put a ton of money in a restoration if you can buy the same boat for less than you would spend fixing the swamped boat. there are a lot of great deals out there...Mark

I think I can get it for the cost of getting it out of the way. Sell the engine(s) for salvage or scrap. The boat "appears" to be about 26-29 feet center console, nice carolina flare in the bow that I can see. So starting at zero cost, adding some leftover four strokes and my semi retired labor, I think I could end up with an OK fishing platform.
