Matt,Jeff,last night I got to thinking that 80lb PP is not big enough.I would like 150lb test PP put on this reel.My plans are to use this reel to rip out big grouper out of rigs.What I had read about these reels is that one can put up to 40+lbs of drag on them which is great.To get the grouper out of rigs,one just deep drops a live12" hardtail leaving the rod n reel in the rod holder.Once a fish bites,one uses the boat to put them out and once you clear the rig,then one backs off the drag and fights the fish.Only problem with this is you have to use a broomstick rod.

So,150lb PP should do the job.Thanks,Paul
