There have been a few, but nobody around here seems to be able to post.

I was landlocked today. Sucks. I heard a few 70lb YFT's, mixed in with some small Blackfins.

I was working as I am today also.. Here's what I heard.

dawiggs - 2 Yellowfins - 1 good size 1 a little smaller - Blue & White Spreader Bar
blue magic - I know he caught fish just not exactly sure how many.
offshore - Same as Above
Capt Fred - Same as Above.

From what I heard it was a good day, hopefully we will hear from these guys soon enough.

On Friday we got one darn amberjack and a shark. That was it. On Sat we got two decent yellowfin and two smallish blackfins. Weather was beautiful. Water color was nasty on Friday but sweet on Sat. All in all a good time!

Yup, I actually changed into clean clothes before we went out to eat. Prolly wouldn't have worried about it in Hatteras but way up there in Manteo I figured I'd better look presentable.

Just thought I would post a short report from this past weekend fishing out of Oregon Inlet. The weather really to nice!! Not much winds and very slight and light seas!! The water on the other hand was almost pea green at the Point and the temps were really not as cool as we really wanted. We fished around the 510 to the 640 and managed to scratch out a few fish. We did mark a lot of fish at the point at depths 100-150 ft. Ended up with three Yellowfins and three Blackfins. All and all a good trip. There are alot of Backfins around right now. The water is getting better and should get better as the month progresses It was nice seeing everyone over the weekend and had a great time fishing with everyone!!
If you are heading to OI make sure you ask where to go under the bridge. The main span is shoaled up to 3-4 feet and we had to go under the bridge at seventh span south of the main span. We went under the bridge before sunrise and it is very tricky when the tide is going out. With the shoaling at the northern end of the bridge the current cranks through the southern end of the bridge and the span is much narrower. We came back in using the second span after seeing a larger boat go through. We drafted about 4.9 ft under the second span south of the main span…Mark

Nice job Ken. I heard you were the southernmost guy. What line were you on. I'll be in Hatteras next week and I can get up as far as the 350 on a nice day. Otherwise, I'll have to tow to OI.
