Default Started with 6 shells,,,and ended up with 3.

That's right,,,went hog hunting on Aug 14th with a buddy on private land.

On the way into the stand we got winded by the hogs (About 10) and they ran off.

Got up in the stand about 6:45,,feeder didn't go off,,but I waited on them to return.

About 7:30 about 8-10 hogs came in very quietly from my right side headed to where the feeder was. (I thought they would come in on my left side)

I checked out a few through the scope looking for the ones without the,,,(well you know what I was looking for on the back side) any way, the one that was about 20 yards from me didn't have any,,,so I drove his head in the ground with a shot just below the ear, He didn't move! (He looks surprised, don't he)

Cocked the gun real fast and looked up to see one coming from my left to my right walking pretty fast,,,,,O-no you dont,,,BAM! He ran off away from me,,,,cocked the gun again,,,,,another one behind a small bush,,,BAM,,,he went about 20 feet and dropped!

WOW! All this took about 10-15 seconds from the first shot to the last!

HOT DAM! I was jacked up! Took a long breath and decided to call my buddy on the phone and let him know what happened. After a short conversation, I got ready to come down from the stand,,,and Ill be dam, there was another one right under the stand,,(If I would have had a shell in my 45cal Glock I could have blasted him too!)

Man what a great hunt! They were about 80-90lbs each

Gun was a Marlin Lever action 30-30 336 SC, Nikon scope 3X9X50mm. Ammo was Remington Core-Lokt 170 Gr.
