im gonna try to hunt in texas and louisiana ...any suggestions?

Hey sparetime ~ sounds like you've picked out two really good places to go huntin'! I can say that 'cause I live in Texas.

In Texas, you might want to check out the Piney Woods area for deer huntin'. As for dove.....best place for that is my front yard.

Also, for turkey and wild hog you might try southern Texas area. Deer seem to be pretty good there as well.

I gave up elk hunting this year, because we have so many enviro wackos camped out in the prime areas. Ended up going down to Idaho, where I popped my 4x6 rack in two days. Got back home a few days later to hear our area is now permanently closed!
