Default going looking

Well i think im gonna go out on sunday(11/17) and try to catch a few triggers, but mainly i want to get out and run the boat and try to ease aroung and look for a few new spots on the bottom machine......i have just found out that there have been 32 reefs made back in june 2006 each reef consist of but not limited to 5 pyrimids of florida limestone averaging 8 feet tall a piece and about 20-30 feet wide, along with the 5 pyrimids on each location is said to be concrete rubble that was removed from biloxi bay from the bridge collapsing during katrina........dont know how much truth is there but i will find out tommorow.....these spots were just released a few days ago so i got to go check them out.....surely if the spots are there they should be holding fish after 1 1/2 yrs of no pressure.....also 3 shrimp boats and 2 tugs were put down in april 06......ill let yall know what i find!!

Stephen, how far out are these structures from where you're located? According to your weather report in another thread, you should have a great day to go looking around.

Good luck, & keep us up to date.

Wayne

Wayne they are starting at 28 miles....go out to 45 miles
but what you have to understand is we have islands that protect us somewhat that are 7 miles out.....so i wont know what we have in store for us until i stick the bow out past the islands....looks good and hope it stays that way!!

Went down to Venice to see what was going on and the dock was on fire with catches of reds and trout. Pretty much all the guides came back with there limits. There was 4 offshore boats that went out but I didn't hange around for them to return. Talking to some of the guides they say that Midnight Lump is also on fire.
