how do you guys butterfly your bait....i have seen several differnent tactics on butterflying hardtails down here and i was wondering how you guys do it!

I cut from the tail to head on both sides. Then break backbone from middle and chunk. Makes good bait for reef fish.

works good on any bait, even pogies if they are still somewhat fresh
