Default nice little trip with the kids

left out at 3pm after the kids got out of school, ran about 22 miles and instantly hooked and gaffed a nice cobia.....caught a few snappers(nothing large) then picked up and bottom bumped back towards the hill......stopped and picked up a few more snappers(released, looking for larger ones) and cobia started showing up everywhere......hooked up another cobia and gaffed/fish boxed it and headed in.........

PART 2

Im headed in,running by radar and plotter and USCG stopped me....apparently a FACTORY sea pro bow light is unsatisfactory according to USCG....they said I was a navagational hazard because they couldnt see my bow lights from 300 yards away(yes they were working).......after a inspection of flares, horn, fire extinguisher ETC ETC (and then they see about 50 life vest and epirb) they write a warning and tell us to have a good evening.......overall they were very professional and courteous....I just dont know how a FACTORY installed bow light can be un-acceptable.......

oh well it was a good trip anyway........at least its not a ticket!

heres a few pics....my nephew has the others....

Might want to mention the running light situation to the SeaPro guy over on THT.
