We've canceled out the last three trips with questionable weather/seas. This four day NOAA forecast might be the best we'll see untill the spring ... if they get it right.

THURSDAY
SOUTH WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET.
FRIDAY
SOUTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 3 TO 4 FEET.
SATURDAY
SOUTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 1 TO 3 FEET.
SUNDAY
SOUTH WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET.

Default The limp is officially DEAD!

We fished last Sun./Mon. and didn't even get close to the Lump. Picked up a nice warsaw and some stud AJs but no hooters. Sunday Eddie had 3 hoos and on Monday there were 4 charter boats that had one wahoo each. There is also NO SHORTAGE of snapper.

I was supposed to go Sat but had kiddie functions. The group I was going with got a bunch of grouper and a couple aj's and one lost hooter. They ran out to the canyon with the calm seas and saw fish jumping in the birds and they thought tuna for sure. Nothing but sharks tearing up the surface. May try and get out next weekend, maybe inshore as I have a new kayak on its way in or maybe bring it out there. So.... if you see someone in a bright red kayak out there don't run over me! haha
