Default Hurricane Ike

I can't believe this ... now it's Ike. I'm getting tired of running.

Well, Ike just became a Cat 4 storm, and they have no idea yet which direction it will go. Some of the forecast models have it turning NE and heading out to sea. That would be the best news, but some of them have it following Hanna right for us in NC, which would be catastrophic. Hope this one just goes away.

I hope Ike follows Hanna's path. If not it will be a real busy time for me.
first get the Florida house, wife and kid ready for the hurricane, then drive back to Mississippi to get the junk yard ready.
Like you said Red.............The running is starting to get old.
Red.....were do you find all these weather tracks ?

I hope they're wrong because this thing can come across the tip of FL and head for me.

Red ~ you just pack up your bags (and boat) and come to North Texas. Puttin' up with Daddy'O, Da Boyz, Welder and me is a LOT more fun.

Well .... the latest forecast is not looking too good for the Northern Gulf.

Thanks for the invitation Jane, but I'm trying to stay a little closer to home. I made that run a few times from Fort Walters (helicopter school) in '58'. I had fun fishing possum kingdom lake at that time. Did you ever fish it?
