Default decent grouper and

a few snappers

went looking for some new bottom to start fishing and marked plenty of new stuff..

so it is the first trip out in the boat since having work done on it at Emerald Coast Marine(thanks Kenny)..boat ran perfect and i was able to put my mom on a decent grouper and the kids had fun with the snappers.....nothing to really brag about but thought i would at least share....

i would guess the weight of the grouper @ 15-18#......all i had was POS scales and 1 read 18# the other read 16#..

mom had a blast

Yup, nice going. My last trip out I only caught an anchor!

I've done that inshore. Fished a night time Snook spot and lost an anchor due to a bad knot. Several weeks later anchored up on the same spot and when we were done for the night pulled in both anchors, sort of a bonus...... cool stuff !

That's a hoot Jeff! Catching your own anchor weeks later takes some real skill.
